Engagements have included numerous performances in collaboration with orchestras, vocal and instrumental bands, and choral groups in Seoul and the United States. Sunny recorded "Standing on the Dried Field" with Lim Hyung Min and published "How to Approach the Music Study" in Music Journal magazine in Seoul, South Korea.
Her teacher is Oak Soo Han, who is a director of Han-Romanson. Sunny has a Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance and Composition.
Sunny is passionately committed to worship music, and has devoted much time in coaching a wide range of age groups in a wide variety of music styles, including classical and contemporary. Sunny Choi, Accompanist
Korea-born pianist Sunny Choi has gained a unique reputation for performing a wide variety of music styles with special flair. Her passion for this repertoire makes her performances unique and memorable. Sunny has performed widely in Seoul (South Korea) and the United States, playing for symphony, recital, and musical worship audiences. She has also taught a wide range of age groups, including adult, youth, and children.
Sunny began playing the violin at the age of five. She achieved second place in the 1977 "Young Artist" competition at the tender age of seven, and made a formal debut in Se-Jong Art Hall in Seoul as a pianist when she was just 22. Awards include a Scholarship at Music School, an Honor in Piano Performance with Distinction, and a New Artist of Year, 1991 in Seoul.
